Memorandum of Understanding with United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR)
The University of Melbourne has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees. This provides the basis for close collaboration on a number of projects that will allow for the University to make a significant contribution to fostering informed debate on asylum seeker and refugee issues. Initiatives to date include the establishment of major projects on statelessness (lead by the Melbourne School of Government) as well as regional protection (lead by the School of Law).
